New project: Aortic Valve Imaging and AI-driven Prediction

We are pleased to share the successful kick-off meeting of a new project focusing on the imaging of fibrotic and calcified changes of the aortic valve and their analysis using advanced multi-task AI models to predict long-term morphological and clinical outcomes together with Damini Dey.

This initiative brings together cutting-edge cardiovascular imaging and artificial intelligence to better understand disease progression and support more precise, forward-looking patient care.

We were delighted to welcome Klaus Fuglsang Kofoed as an external expert, whose input provided valuable perspectives in shaping the project from the very beginning.

A special highlight is the outstanding contribution of Federico Biavati, whose work plays a central role in driving this project forward. https://www.nature.com/articles/s41569-023-00880-4

Supported by a dedicated interdisciplinary team, this project marks another step towards integrating imaging, data science and clinical insight. Looking forward to the next steps.
