We are proud to announce that Professor Marc Dewey was awarded Honorary Membership of the Japanese Radiological Society (JRS) at the JRC 2025 Meeting in Yokohama.
To mark the occasion, Prof. Dewey delivered a keynote lecture titled “Honouring the Past and Guiding the Future: Key Strategies for Multicentre Randomised Medical Imaging Trials.” Drawing on major international studies such as CAD-Man, COME-CCT, CORE-320, DISCHARGE, and IMPRO, he outlined ten practical recommendations for successfully conducting multicentre trials in radiology.
The lecture highlighted both methodological insights and the importance of personal qualities such as resilience, adaptability, and teamwork in advancing radiological innovation for the benefit of patients.
We thank the JRS for this honour and their ongoing commitment to fostering international collaboration in medical imaging research.
