We are pleased to share the successful initiation meeting of DISCHARGE-Extend, the long-term follow-up of the landmark DISCHARGE trial (https://www.nejm.org/doi/full/10.1056/NEJMoa2200963).
Bringing together the Dissemination Committee chair Jonathan Dodd (Dublin, Mercator Fellow) andthe PIs of two major centres – Klaus Kofoed (Copenhagen) and Pál Maurovich-Horvat (Budapest) – the meeting marked an important step towards advancing our understanding of long-term outcomes in patients with stable chest pain.
Led by Marc Dewey, DISCHARGE-Extend builds on a strong international collaboration in 18 countries and will further explore the long-term impact of CT in cardiovascular imaging.
A special thank you to our outstanding team for their continued support in making this next phase possible.
Looking forward to the next steps in this exciting collaboration.
