We are excited to share the kick-off meeting of our new project dedicated to advancing the understanding of coronary atherosclerosis by CT imaging. By high-resolution imaging this project aims to deepen our understanding of disease mechanisms and open new avenues for more precise diagnostics and risk prediction.
A special mention goes to Kenrick Schulze, who has been closely involved from the early stages and is helping to shape the direction of the project based on the QCI AI publications (https://www.nature.com/articles/s41569-025-01191-6).
We also had the pleasure of welcoming Pál Maurovich-Horvat as Mercator Fellow, whose perspectives added a pivotal dimension to the discussions. Altogether, it was a great starting point for what promises to be a very collaborative and exciting line of research.
