The DISCHARGE Trial

The IMPRO Trial

(Improved Management of Patients with Recent-Onset Stable Chest Pain)

The IMPRO study focuses on evaluating and optimizing healthcare processes for patients in Germany presenting with suspected coronary artery disease (CAD). By analyzing the care pathways of individuals with recent-onset stable chest pain, this clinical trial aims to identify key areas for improvement and implement more effective, sustainable management strategies. The ultimate goal is to enhance long-term patient outcomes and refine clinical care structures according to the highest medical standards.

Currently, the trial is conducting its crucial follow-up phase to track long-term patient development and assess the overall efficacy of the care provided. Participation is subject to specific medical inclusion criteria, focusing on individuals undergoing diagnostic evaluation or treatment for suspected CAD. The GUIDE-IT Project

However, data sharing in this field remains difficult. GUIDE-IT aims to overcome these barriers by developing robust concepts that address key issues such as stakeholder acceptance, data quality, data access, IT resources, and long-term economic sustainability.

The ultimate goal of the project is to build a dedicated infrastructure tailored specifically to the needs of data providers, re-users, patients, and policy makers. By unlocking the potential of shared medical imaging data, GUIDE-IT seeks to accelerate the development of innovative imaging biomarkers through artificial intelligence and radiomics.
